Pretty Little Liars
According to Webstar Dictionary a lie can be defined as "a statement this is known by the source to be misleading, inaccurate, or false". Some people lie on a daily basis whether it is a simple one such as, "Oh, I am five minutes away" even though they haven't even left the house yet or larger more complex lies like lying on your FAFSA in order to get more financial aid or purchasing a fake ID to drink while underage. I personally do not like being lied to because I feel as if eventually everything that person says or has said to me in the past will lose credibility making it difficult for me to trust them in the future. I used to lie a lot to my mother when I was a kid about stupid things such as cleaning my room, doing my homework, or eating too many snacks. My mom helped me realize that by me lying to her it is just making things worse because not only did I do something bad but I also lied about it so that is two strikes against me when I could have dealt with just having one. However, I do feel like there are instances or situations that may require some form of falsification. How I see it is if the truth could do far more damage to the situation or the person you are speaking with is someone who is too weak to take the honest truth it may be acceptable or permissible to be unhonest.
